When positions become available we prefer to hire existing residents who have the desired skills. Many residents generously share their gifts and talents with the community in a voluntary capacity as well.

Staff and Seasonal Employment:

Many of our employment opportunities are filled by residents. If you are considering residency and want to know more about work opportunities, please contact our visitor coordinator. We employ people in the following departments:

  • Site Management Team: Resident and visitor management

  • Maintenance: Head of Maintenance and additional maintenance team

  • Kitchen: Seasonal program to serve student and event programs

  • Administration: bookkeeping, HR, finance, and fundraising

  • Grants Manager: finds and applies for grant opportunities while managing active grants

  • Garden Coordinator: Coordinates gardens and volunteers

  • Land Steward: Stewards Land and supervises volunteers

  • Intern Coordinator: Recruits interns amongst various departments

  • Event staff: Temp positions March-October

  • Education: Educational program coordinators and seasonal instructors
