A Faire & Feast for the Future
Join us for a farm to table dinner during the height of spring, when the camas in the meadow is in bloom. The menu will consist of food sourced from local farms within 100 miles of Eugene. There will be an educational and celebratory faire for early arrival attendees, as well as a silent auction during the evening, accompanied with live music, and key note speakers.
Funds will go directly to our Oak Savannah Restoration Grazing Project, a vital step toward restoring the health and resilience of our local Oak Woodlands, Savannas, and Meadows. By using goats to naturally manage invasive species, improve soil health, and maintain open, fire-adapted landscapes, we are not only rejuvenating these critical ecosystems but also providing a hands-on learning tool for our community. This project will help protect biodiversity, sequester carbon, and reduce fire risk, all while supporting the local food system and fostering sustainable land stewardship. Your support through our fundraiser will directly fund this transformative initiative, empowering us to restore the land, enhance climate resilience, and create educational opportunities that build a more sustainable future for us all.
Support us to provide free and accessible education to our bioregion
At Lost Valley Education Center, we believe that building a resilient, sustainable future starts in our own backyard. Our farm-to-table silent auction dinner isn’t just a celebration of local food; it’s a vital opportunity to support the education that empowers our community to meet the challenges of climate change head-on. As a center dedicated to teaching permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable living practices, we are equipping our neighbors with the tools they need to adapt, thrive, and take action in the face of environmental challenges. By supporting our work, you’re helping create an inclusive, accessible learning environment where individuals from all walks of life can gain the skills to grow food, build intentional communities, and respond with resilience to the climate crisis. Your contribution at this event ensures that education—on which the future of our planet depends—remains open to everyone in our region. Together, we can cultivate the kind of change we need—at the local level, for the global good.
