Social Media/Marketing Internship description

The role will involve:

  • Developing content for social media and outreach

  • Managing social media platforms

  • Capturing video and photo content while attending work parties, events, celebrations, daily activities.

  • Writing and editing copy

  • Assisting with newsletters

  • Graphic Design

  • Public outreach and tabling events

  • Cross-team collaboration with other departments to market Lost Valley events, courses, fundraising, and community.

 

Lost Valley Educational Center is looking for a Social Media / Marketing Intern to join our team this season! We are look for someone with:

  • Experience managing business social media accounts or a passion to learn

  • Awareness of current trends in social media and algorithm function.

  • Photography and videographer skills

  • A thorough understanding of Lost Valley's mission and vision and ability to clearly communicate them through text and visual storytelling.

  • Graphic Design skills

  • Familiarity with Squarespace, Google Adwords, Canva, Flodesk, and Illustrator, and/or desire to learn these platforms.
