Nature Center

Lost Valley’s 87 acres, encompassing oak savanna, natural meadow, stream and riparian areas, ponds, and extensive forest lands in various states of maturity, offer unique environmental education opportunities. Please help us continue expanding our trail network, educational activities and land conservation work with a tax deductible donation through the donate button on our homepage.

The Nature Center is managed by Chris Roth, long time resident of Lost Valley and editor of Communities Magazine.

Sustainability Tour

One of the Nature Center’s most significant recent accomplishment has been completion of a thirty-five station Sustainability Tour, marked by engraved signs. A new downloadable brochure includes the complete text of the signs. While we hope this brochure is instructive on its own, it is even more useful when read while exploring the features it describes at Lost Valley.

Arrange a visit and enjoy the tour!
