Frequently Asked Questions about Lost Valley’s Retreat and Day Use Rentals:
Are you open year-round?
Yes we are! Every season has something to offer at Lost Valley.
Enjoy the sunny summers or nestle around the fireplace in winter. Our retreat center facilities can be your sanctuary all year long.
What kind of food do you serve?
The Lost Valley Kitchen is famous for delicious, organic, vegetarian meals. Much of what we serve is grown on site or purchased within a 20 mile radius. All meals include locally grown, organic, herb teas. We can easily accommodate special dietary requests such as vegan and gluten free.

Do you serve only vegetarian meals?
Many non-vegetarian guests are pleasantly surprised with the satisfying vegetarian meals we serve. While the Lost Valley Kitchen is known for its abundant, organic feasts, we can prepare non-vegetarian meals upon request. Since they require special preparation, rates will be slightly higher than the published meal plans. Please contact kitchen(@)lostvalley.org for more information.
Do you offer day use of your meeting facilities?
Yes, absolutely. Our proximity to Eugene makes us the perfect destination for a staff planning retreat or workshop in a beautiful nature scene. Our meeting rooms are well-equipped and comfortable. Our grounds have wonderful places to do outdoor activities. If it is raining, you can use a meadow yurt for workshops and classes. Meals are delicious and the community experience provides the perfect setting for relaxing, communicative meetings. One thing is sure, your event will be special at Lost Valley.
How many people can you accommodate?
Depending on your type of event, we can host about 200 people. Our meadow is a magical place for weddings and day use. For overnight accommodations, our two dormitories have 36 rooms. Some are double bedrooms and others contain up to four bunkbeds. We can accommodate up to 100 people in the dormitories. We also offer additional accommodations in our townhouse apartments, yurts and cabins. Camping is also popular and affordable. To learn more, please see the “Visit Us” page or contact us.
