Board of Directors

Lost Valley Educational Center seeks dynamic community leaders to join our Board of Directors during this exciting phase of growth and potential.  The ideal candidate will have connections within the local community, be committed to sustainability, have demonstrated strong leadership in the nonprofit sector, and preferably have experience in one or more of the following areas: development and fundraising, law, accounting, organizational systems, and sustainable agriculture and building.

Our current projects:
-Expanding our course selection through the Camassia Institute for Sustainable Communities to include more permaculture and sustainable living courses
-Increasing our sustainability by improving our water and solar systems
-Establishing a conservation easement to protect our land
-Involving youth and our local community through regular workshops and tours
-Enhancing our current local foods cooperative to build local food sufficiency
-Establishing a housing cooperative to promote long-term sustainable development

Lost Valley Educational Center is a nonprofit environmental educational center dedicated to empowering people to reduce their impact on the earth by teaching permaculture and sustainable living skills.
