Visit Us

We offer a variety of ways to get to know our programs, community, and land. Because we are an aspiring ecovillage and conference center,  advance notice is necessary. We are open for visitors most weekdays.  Please contact visit(@)lostvalley.org for specific availability. We request that you contact us at least 72 hours in advance in order to properly prepare for your arrival.

Visitors can stay for up to 30 days.  However, there is a $5 per day facilities charge for visits beyond 3 days.

Lodging:
• Camping is $12 per night per tent.  Our meadow is huge with tent and tipi spaces all around, some with platforms.  (Plus the stars can be amazing!)
• RV or bus camping is $20 per night in select spaces only.  (See map)
• Dorm rooms with two twin size beds and dresser: Single occupancy dorm rooms are $25 per night.  Double occupancy is $40.  Triple occupancy (one room) is $55 per night.
• The Executive Director suite (managed by Melanie Rios, E.D.) which includes a bedroom with queen bed (space can sleep more than 2 if need be), shared bathroom with tub, and shared kitchenette with small fridge, hot plates, and cookware: available for $60 per night. Just the bedroom and shared bathroom is $40 per night.
• Other spaces such as cabins and yurts may come available, but not often.
• Laundry is $1.50 per wash load and $1.00 per dry (cash drop box in laundry rooms.)

Prepared meals in the Lodge:
• Lunch and dinner are prepared by kitchen staff Monday-Friday, but not Saturday or Sunday.
• Breakfast is $3 per meal, and self-serve (access to snack station, cereals, oatmeal, teas.)
• Lunch is $5.
• Dinner is $7.
• Visitors must be oriented to the lodge kitchen by the kitchen manager and partnered with a resident if they would like to use the lodge kitchen on weekends.

Other meal options:

• Currently, the only non-lodge meal preparation facilities are in the Executive Director’s suite.  We are working on restoring our “Guest Kitchen” near the lodge and our “Outdoor Kitchen” in the meadow.

Payment:
• Lodging payments can be made online via credit or debit using PayPal. Please pay for your full stay in advance. One night’s stay is non-refundable, and we will refund half of your stay with a 48-hour written notice of cancellation to visit(@)lostvalley.org.

Cash, check or money order can be mailed to:
