Lost Valley Permaculture Education Center Prints with Green Solutions PrintingToday, Lost Valley Permaculture Education Center went into beautiful Eugene, Oregon to pick up our new fliers and business cards printed on 50 percent post-consumer waste paper by Green Solutions Printing. The results were outstanding. Green Solutions Printing (PrintGreen.com) is an environmentally preferable printing company dedicated to bringing affordable, sustainable printing to the marketplace. David Fried, our customer service representative, was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire production process, and the rest of the staff members at their full-service print house were second to none in their professionalism. David gave us a tour of the print facility, which included top-of-the-line Heidelburg Quickmaster DI presses, the Prepress Department, bindery and folding machines, and a very large cutter that produced quick, clean cuts for our entire print job of 5,000 sheets of paper within 20 minutes. Green Solutions Printing is a Certified Green Business through Co-op America, is carbon neutral, powers its facility with green energy and provides excellent print quality for projects both large and small. It was the first print house in the US to receive Ancient Forest Friendly certification, and it offers customers many sustainable printing options such as 100 percent post-consumer waste paper, processed chlorine free paper, and soy-based inks. Our goal for printing the fliers was to help spread the word about our Permaculture Design, Ecovillage Design and Green Building Design Courses.
